Nice relaxing country pub with a homely feel, good food, great indoor atmosphere and spacious outside eating and drinking area.
Visited for Sunday lunch what a change from my last visit some 10 months ago. The Sunday roast was amazing plenty of well cooked food on hot plates. Jill the original landlady has returned and the 5 star food rating has been regained. The community spirit is returning along with the locals.Great times ahead.
Great food, which appeared and tasted like it was home cooked. Apple & blackberry crumble strongly recommended, but gammon was also good. Beer was very nice. On site off road parking available with step free access to bar and eating area. Landlord very helpful and appeared to take pride in what was on offer.
