Nearing the end of my time here now but has been a amazing experience. The education is OK and staff are very nice and supportive but there have been problems with bullying and other not-so-pleasent topics not being solved quick enough.
my child attended a few years ago now and was severely bullied. none of the teachers cared and when brought to the head masters attention he sent us to the deputy. this man told my child she was making it up for attention and that it will stop in a few weeks. it continued for 2 years until she joined her next school. the school claim to be anti bullying, with zero cases, yet this is because they turn away any child seeking help and deny them. the only positive to come from my daughter's experience from this school is her education as she is passing her current classes. only send your child here if you don't care about their feelings, only their brain
I've never encountered a more shocking school. My son is being bullied harendously and I have phoned the school and still waiting a week later. This is not the first time. The children are vile and think it's a joke and what's worse so do the teachers. They literally said to my son you had the Easter holidays to get over it and that he was petty. Might I add that these vile boys pulled down his trousers which I believe this is some kind of sexual harassment they then picked on him and after only receiving a lunch time detention are still doing it. If you want your children to be happy and content do not send then here.
It's an amazing school. When I left this year I didn't think I was going to miss it but a couple days after I realised that I was going to miss it. Teachers are wonderful and they help a lot including the headteacher and the deputy. It has been the best 4 years of my life so far.
Lockyers is an amazing school. I joined at the beginning of year 6 and have had a wonderful experience. I have made lovely friends & the teachers are supportive and make lessons more interesting. I have given a 5 because.. amazing staff, amazing education, amazing people. I will leave in year 8 in 1 year thinking of only the many happy memories made here.
